VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures for cancer in Virginia and promote an active, healthy lifestyle for our community. To support this important cause, we are participating in the Play it Forward Tennis Tournament on October 5th to raise funds and awareness for women's cancer research at Massey.

In addition to their world-class staff, medical treatments and research initiatives, Massey has a terrific partnership with Shalom Farms. Shalom Farms visits Massey one day a week and has locally grown produce that families can purchase at an affordable price. The photo above is on one of those Shalom Farms days. It's such a help to families to have this nutritious food so easily accessible.

Massey also has a relaxation room for families to visit when they come in for treatment or a doctor's visit. It's a lovely room and, as you can see from the photo above, can virtually transport you to the beach!
