You know the story ... this is year 19 and I have have stepped up to 10k the MASSEY Way!

I have accepted the Massey Challenge because I want to see a world without cancer. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia.  To support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to give my miles meaning at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.

By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer, especially Whitney Ferrell and Joe Mitchell who were my reasons for starting to raise funds to help. In these 19 years, I have walked for many more of my friends and family members as well as yours!
