I have stepped up to 10k the MASSEY Way in memory of my grandfather, Dee, class of '61 who lost his battle with cancer.
I have accepted the Massey Challenge, presented by Apex Systems, a division of ASGN Incorporated, because I want to see a world without cancer. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working to save lives and find cures right here in Virginia. To support their life-saving cancer research, I have accepted the Massey Challenge to fundraise and to give my miles meaning at the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k.
By fundraising for Massey, my 10k will have special meaning and honor those I love who are battling – or have battled cancer.
