Each year, I run the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k in memory of my father, who I lost to cancer when I was just 11 years old. I also run in honor of my mother, a breast cancer survivor whose strength continues to inspire me every day. This year, I’ve taken the Massey Challenge because I want to see a world without cancer—a world where families don’t have to endure the pain of losing loved ones too soon.
VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is working tirelessly to find cures and save lives right here in Virginia. By fundraising for Massey, I’m giving my 10k miles real meaning as I honor my father’s memory and celebrate my mother’s victory over cancer.
But I can’t do this alone. Your support can help make a real difference in the fight against cancer. Please consider donating to my fundraising goal to help put cancer on the run!
Together, let’s make strides toward a world without cancer!
