The purpose of the "Find the Kindness...and the Cure" 5K Walk/Run:

To support the life-saving cancer research being conducted by VCU Massey Cancer Center by fundraising in honor of those who are battling and have battled cancer.

To provide an opportunity, for friends and family, to come together to offer support and encouragement to those dear to us that have been affected by a cancer diagnosis. Our hope is that this event will provide healing to those who have experienced loss and remind the true hero's, who continue to fight bravely and inspire us daily, that we are always here by their side.
